Steuart Botchford

Steuart Botchford is an experienced entrepreneur and investor with a deep track record in building and scaling businesses in the consumer service and healthcare sectors. He started his career at Bain & Company where he worked on private equity and hedge fund diligence. He then founded and was the longtime CEO of Northstar Fertility, a leading network of fertility and family-building companies, which he led through rapid growth and eventual sale to private equity. Steuart then transitioned from operator to investor, focusing on search funds and lower middle-market businesses, where he now serves on multiple boards across a variety of industries. He brings particular expertise in consumer services, specialty insurance, and strategic M&A. He is a regular guest in classes at Harvard Business School and other top programs as well as mentoring new CEOs as they take over businesses for the first time. Steuart holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Economics from Mercer University and an MBA and MS from the University of Michigan.
