Mike Minchella
Mike is a founding partner of Watchtower and leads new investment execution. Mike was previously a Vice President at Stellex Capital Management where he led the evaluation and due diligence of new investment opportunities.
Prior to Stellex, Mike spent 6 years at Sun Capital where he focused on lower middle market leveraged buyouts and was most recently a Vice President. Mike was responsible for sourcing and executing acquisitions of family-owned businesses, corporate carve-outs and add-on acquisitions in the industrials sector. Additionally, he collaborated with portfolio company executives on portfolio company exits, divestitures, recapitalizations and a variety of strategic initiatives. Mike served on the Board of Directors for StonePoint Materials, one of the largest construction aggregates companies in the U.S. Before his time at Sun Capital, Mike was a financial analyst in Houlihan Lokey's Industrials group.
Mike received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Casey Lanza
Casey is a founding partner of Watchtower and leads new investment execution. Casey was previously a Principal at Instar Asset Management where he served on the investment committee and was responsible for leading the sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and structuring of new investment opportunities. Casey also served on the Board of Directors for one of the largest fiber network service companies in the Pacific Northwest.
Prior to Instar, Casey spent 11 years at Sun Capital, a leading private equity firm focused on lower middle market leveraged buyouts. Casey worked on both the operations and investment teams during his tenure at Sun Capital. In his most recent role at Sun Capital, Casey was a Vice President and was responsible for sourcing and executing acquisitions of family-owned businesses, corporate carve-outs, and add-on acquisitions. Additionally, he collaborated with portfolio company executives on portfolio company exits, divestitures, asset sales, financings and dividend recapitalizations. Casey served on the Board of Directors for several of Sun Capital’s portfolio companies.
Casey received a Bachelor degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.
Nick Coder
Nick has more than 20 years of leadership experience in M&A, integration, and operations. He is currently the CEO of Front Rock Materials, a construction aggregates and asphalt company. Previously, Nick co-founded StonePoint Materials, a top 25 construction aggregates company in the U.S., and led StonePoint’s M&A, integration, and growth efforts. After StonePoint’s acquisition by Arcosa, Nick served as Arcosa’s Head of Construction Products M&A, where he sourced and closed the acquisition of the largest independent construction aggregates company in Phoenix through a privately negotiated transaction.
Nick received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Psychology from Duke University, a Master of Finance degree from Pennsylvania State University, and is a CFA charterholder.
